How to add data to RAPID graphs:

Linux users should use the .gz files or the .ZIP files:

  • mv 981124f.gz r.dat/      ( "your home directory"/r.dat/ is where the data is located).
  • cd rapid/
  • xrapid (enter) (you must have your X-windows running for this to work).
  • select "import/export graphs (F5)" and "(D) = Use data supplied at www.rapidcharting.com"
  • Next, type in: 981124f.gz

    The .ZIP files are the same as InvestorLink files.  Do this instead:

  • select "import/export graphs (F5)" and "(I) = Use data e-mailed from Investor Link."
  • Next, type in: 000512F.ZIP

    MSwindows/Dos users should use the .zip files:

  • pkunzip 981124.zip
  • move 981124.csf \rapid.dat
  • cd \rapid
  • rapid (enter)
  • select "import/export graphs-F5" and then press F2 twice.
  • Next, type in: 981124.csf (the text file to be added to RAPID graphs).
